Camping and Day Use at TOP

 

Outdoor fun for Everyone! Here’s how to reserve your spot:

Step 1: Check the calendar and make sure the date(s) you want are available!

Step 2. Read the TOP Safety Regulations here.

Step 3: Fill out the TOP Reservation Form (Group User Permit). (Not needed for family picnics or individual hiking/day use)

Step 4: Print out and sign the TOP Indemnification Form. Email signed form to info@topofthepines.org. (Not needed for family picnics or individual hiking/day use)

Step 5: If you have a group larger than 30 or are an overnight student group:

  1. Request a Certificate of Liability Insurance (for 1 million in coverage) from your insurance company (or school). Please name County of Ouray, Ouray County and TOP, Inc. 1035 Highland Drive, Ridgway, Colorado as Additional Insured Parties. Email to:  info@topofthepines.org.
  2. Submit a credit card authorization as a security deposit. (Not needed for school groups.)

Step 6: Check the fees below and make a payment through PayPal (see link below).

Fees for Camping:

Single Campsite: $20 per night

Exclusive use of all 9 campsites: $150/night

Fees for Group Day Use (picnicking, low ropes course, biking, hiking, educational excursions)

Families: 4 hours – $20; Over 4 hours – $35

Schools in Ouray County: 4 hours – $15 per class; over 4 hours – $ 25/class

Schools outside of Ouray County: 4 hours – $30 per class; over 4 hours – $50 per class

Parties and Commercial Groups:  4 hours – $50 per 10 participants; Over 4 hours – $65 per 10 participants. 

Please Note: Educational campsite reservations include day use and no extra fee is required. Commercial groups who reserve the campsites receive 50% off of the day use fees for picnicking, low ropes course, biking, hiking & educational excursions.
