Past Savor the San Juans Events

The fourth annual Savor the San Juans turned out to be another successful night with a great time had by all! Our silent and live auction raised close to $10,000. Our live auction included a safari trip to Kenya, a San Juan Hut Systems hut to hut trip, a vacation in Telluride at the Franz Klammer Lodge and a monthly delivery of food from some of our local chefs and bakers.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious sampling of tasty treats from local chefs and restaurants. The food was as diverse as the crowd and included breads, pastries, soups, finger foods, Asian treats, seafood, and desserts. Palisade Brewery and Grande River Vineyards provided the spirits and several local musicians entertained us all.
The funds raised from this event will be used for renovation and enclosure of the pavilion and infrastructure on the property. We look forward to our next Savor the San Juans being held in the summer of 2009 and we are hoping to host the event actually on the preserve!
